Preheat oven to 325. Line a 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper and oil lightly.

In a medium sized bowl, sift together the dry ingredients.

In a large bowl, mix together the wet ingredients. Sprinkle the dry mixture over wet and stir to combine. Fold in 3 tablespoons of the chocolate or carob chips.

Pour into lined tray and smooth the top. Sprinkle top with 2 tbsp chicory chips. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes, until fork comes out mostly clean. Cool completely before cutting
