Dr. Brauer has served as the Health Ministries Director for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists since 2016. She holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree in Nutrition from Loma Linda University School of Public Health and a Master of Health Science (MHS) in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Lorayne Barton, MD, MPH

Dr. Barton serves as the Health Ministries Director for the Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
Kathleen Coleman, MPH, BSN, RN

Kathy is President of the Adventist Association of Faith Community Nursing, a ministry of NAD Health Ministries. She is Director of the Faith Community Health program at Adventist HealthCare, a BSN graduate from Washington Adventist University, and has a Masters in Public Health from Loma Linda University. She is co-founder of the Association of Black Seventh-day Adventist Nurses.

Dr. DeRose serves as President of CompassHealth Consulting, Inc. He is a physician holding board certifications in both Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine. He also earned a master’s degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Promotion and Health Education.

Byron is Vice President for regional affairs and human relations, community services, prison ministry, and disaster preparedness and response director at the North Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Lake Union Conference
Dr. Griffin serves as director of the Lake Union Adventist Community Health Initiative of the Lake Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Dr. Joseph is Vice President of Haitian and African Ministries at the Atlantic Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.

Rick serves as President of the Adventist Association of Health and Wellness Coaching, a ministry of NAD Health Ministries. He is currently the health ministry director of the Rocky Mountain Conference. His past experience includes Weimar Institute’s NEWSTART program and Hartland Institute of Health and Education.

Peter Landless, M.B., BCH., M.MED., FCP (SA), FACC, FASNC
General Conference
Dr. Landless serves as Health Ministries Director for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. He is Executive Director of the International Commission for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Dependency and is an ordained minister of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He has medical specialties in family medicine, internal medicine, and cardiology.

Joan Sabaté, MD, DrPH

Dr. Sabaté is Professor of Nutrition and Epidemiology at Loma Linda University School of Public Health where he directs the Center for Nutrition, Lifestyle and Disease Prevention. He is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and has a doctorate in Nutrition and a Fellowship in Nutritional Epidemiology.

Dr. Sedlacek serves as Coordinator for the Adventist Recovery Ministries (ARMin), a ministry of NAD Health Ministries. He is Professor of Family Ministry and Discipleship & Lifespan Education and Chair, Department of Discipleship & Lifespan Education at Andrews University.

Ingrid is Assistant Professor of Social Work at Andrews University and is Director of the International Center for Trauma Education and Care. She has significant experience doing and advocating for culturally appropriate therapy within multi-cultural groups.
