Meet Our Presenter

Dr. Janet Johnson, Pediatrician

Dr. Janet V. Johnson received her Medical Degree at State University of New York at Buffalo, University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Howard University Hospital. She is a Pediatrician at Loving Care Pediatrics and specializes in Adolescent Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Johnson serves as a Clinical Instructor for Nurse Practitioner Students at Howard University, Johns Hopkins, Marymount, University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Johnson also serves as a Clinical Instructor for Medical Assistant Students at Prospect College, Career Technical Institute and Fortis College. She is a member of the Prince George Community Advisory Group and Board Member of the Career Technical Institute. She is also the Medical Director for the Catholic Charities Mid Maryland Dental Mission of Mercy. She has been honored in Your Health Magazine Prince George County, Bowie Maryland Lifestyle Magazine. Dr. Johnson is, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the Community Adventist Healthcare Faith Community Health Network and the Amerigroup Medical Advisory Committee. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
